From Yahoo!: San Diego newspaper welcomes Manti Te’o with, yep, a fake-girlfriend joke

I’d expect a joke like this from a rival team’s city Newspaper like the Boston Herald (New England Patriots) or even the New York Post (New York Jets), but seriously from the city that drafted you? Way to make Manti feel right at home. Stay classy San Diego!

Peyton Manning is back and the Denver Broncos are reaping the benefits

It’s good to see Peyton Manning back on the field willing his team the Denver Broncos to victory. Just don’t pull that stunt on Tom Brady and the Patriots lol.

Tom Brady plays an invisible game of football in this commercial for UGG. Kind of cool for the kid playing with Tom just sad for the rest of the adults if this were real life.

ESPN: Evelyn Lozada files for divorce from NFL player Chad Johnson

photo from EspnSpousal abuse is no laughing matter and Evelyn Lozada did the right thing by filing for divorce even if the report is true or not. Every now and then I happened to catch them on VH1 on that reality show and that relationship seemed doomed from the beginning (then again video editors are good at making drama out of nothing). Best wishes to Evelyn and Chad Johnson on getting his career back on track.

Espn: New England Patriots' Tom Brady hopes to play in the NFL past 40

Call me too much of a Boston Superfan but I think Tom Brady can play up to and past 40 years old like Brett Favre. The only major injury that he had was back in 2008 and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down any time soon.

I say if he keeps himself healthy and has an offensive line that can hold him to being sacked no more than 1 time every other game it’s possible for him to play for another couple of years. It’s really all about the organization and system that he plays under. His career would’ve probably have been over by now if he played for the Raiders, Bucs, and Chargers.

From Espn: Miami Dolphins' Chad Johnson said he felt restricted when he played for the New England Patriots

I think that this is just a load of bull. Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson didn’t do well in New England because he just didn’t learn the plays period. The guy was on a team that completely believes in preparing for the game in every aspect (and so does every other team in the NFL) and he choked plain and simple. The guy should’ve risen to the occasion and made strides to make his game work for the team but I think he was too busy tweeting.

Chad Johnson also says that if he was just himself he would’ve done better. But how far will he have really gone with the pats if he was the hot-dogging, showboating, stat-padding athlete like for the Bengals? He would’ve been a distraction and eventually would’ve been let go by the Patriots.

Good luck being “yourself” in Miami where you can get yours on a team that doesn’t even have the same talent as the New England Patriots let alone the rest of the AFC East.
