Just a couple of quick funny commercials that I spotted. The embedded clip being Blake Griffin for the Jordan Brand and below’s link John Wall for Red Bull.
This is the first time that I have seen this clip of Michael Jordan shattering a backboard. These backboards must’ve been from the 60s cause I don’t ever recall MJ having that much power to rock the rim that hard. Check out Michael’s breaking slam at around the 2:16 mark.
Jeff Green Smashes on Al Jefferson
Rondo’s reaction >
Now that is how you dunk!!! Unlike Dwayne Wade’s failed attempt on Eric Bledsoe
Los Angeles Clipper Eric Bledsoe blocks Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat with no remorse. Then Ryan Hollins gets a block of his own. There’s a block party in Lob City apparently.
Man they do not make dunkers like Vince Carter, Shawn Kemp or Michael Jordan anymore.
Inidiana Pacers’ Paul George shoes everyone his 360 between the legs dunk at an event. This guy sure knows how to jump out of a gym.
I finally got to see Jus Fly’s dunk from a Nike+ Basketball event that was held in LA and I got to admit that it’s pretty good:
It most definitely is my favorite dunk of 2012. But alas it will never beat one of my favorite dunks of all time from Tom Chambers when he was playing for the Phoenix Suns. Watch it below.
Although Blake Griffin is an incredible in-game and contest dunker, I keep thinking about my favorite dunker of all time Shawn Kemp. I grew up watching Dominique Wilkins, Michael Jordan, and Spudd Webb dunking but none of them took my breath like the Reign Man - Shawn Kemp had a repertoire of dunks that were a mix of power and finesse.
